Manage and moderate customer reviews on your marketplace. Build trust through social proof.
Overview
Reviews are essential for building trust on your marketplace. The Reviews management panel lets you:
- View all reviews: See reviews across all listings
- Add reviews: Create reviews for listings (e.g., from testimonials)
- Edit reviews: Correct typos or inappropriate content
- Delete reviews: Remove fake or policy-violating reviews
- Track stats: Monitor average ratings and review counts
How to Access
Go to Store Settings → Reviews to manage all reviews in your marketplace.
Review Statistics
The Reviews panel shows statistics for each listing:

Click on a listing to see all its reviews:

Adding Reviews
As a marketplace owner, you can add reviews to listings. This is useful for:
- Migrating reviews from a previous platform
- Adding testimonials from customers who contacted you directly
- Seeding initial reviews for new sellers (with permission)
Select the listing you want to add a review to
Click "Add Review"
Enter the reviewer name, rating (1-5 stars), and review text
Optionally set a custom date (for historical reviews)
Click "Save Review" to publish
Authenticity Warning
Only add legitimate reviews. Fake reviews can damage trust and may violate consumer protection laws in some jurisdictions. Always be transparent with your customers.
Editing Reviews
You can edit existing reviews to:
- Fix typos or formatting issues
- Remove inappropriate language while keeping the review
- Redact personal information accidentally included
Click the pencil icon next to any review to edit it.
Deleting Reviews
Remove reviews that violate your policies. Common reasons to delete:
Fake Reviews
Reviews that weren't written by actual customers, including competitor sabotage.
Inappropriate Content
Reviews containing hate speech, harassment, or explicit content.
Wrong Listing
Reviews clearly meant for a different product or seller.
Personal Information
Reviews that expose private information about buyers or sellers.
Click the trash icon to delete a review. This action cannot be undone.

- Be consistent: Apply the same standards to all reviews
- Keep negative reviews: Legitimate negative reviews build trust more than all 5-stars
- Respond to feedback: Encourage sellers to respond to constructive criticism
- Document removals: Keep records of why reviews were deleted
- Encourage reviews: Ask satisfied customers to leave reviews
